Welcome to the Cheshire & Staffs Region. We organise a wide range of events and try to ensure that they appeal to the wide majority of members.

In recent years we have visited such diverse destinations as the new Bentley factory and the radio-telescope at Jodrell Bank. We have also organised visits to various museums (transport, science, etc.) throughout the region and beyond. On the motoring and motorsport front we have organised open days at various BMW dealerships and arranged complimentary tickets for race meetings at Oulton Park.

Some of our members are very keen on showing their cherished BMW’s to the general public. So we ensure that we have club displays at a number of summer classic car shows across the region.

In the past we have also tried our hand at skid-pan training, karting, bowling, field archery and clay pigeon shooting. So if you have a good idea for an event, please let us know. We are always looking for new ideas and any suggestions would be warmly welcomed.

At the core of the calendar of events are our regular pub meets. These are held on a monthly basis in the Manchester and Chester areas, with a regional Sunday lunchtime meeting roughly every other month. Full details of the current arrangements are included in the magazine. I also post details on the club website and in the North West section of the club forum.

As a new member of the club, you will notice that there are numerous events taking place throughout the country. Although other regions or sections will have organised these events, you are entitled to attend and participate along with the members of that region. I can assure you that you will be made most welcome. Talking of events outside the region, you should not miss the club’s annual National Festival, the largest annual BMW gathering in Europe!
