Meeting at Brancepeth Castle at 10am we will take the short 15-20 minute drive across to Shildon where we can take advantage of reserved parking in the dedicated event space right infront of the museum entrance. Likewise you can also meet us directly at the museum if it is easier.

Museum entry is free but donations are welcome.

Enjoy the facilities and exhibits at your leisure and also the chance for refreshments at the on site cafe.

Locally there is also the Bay Horse Pub in Middridge for anyone who fancies a Sunday lunch. Individual booking is essential for the pub lunch as we can’t make a group booking due to not having confirmed numbers.
