The Blue Pool Nature Reserve & Tearooms at Wareham and the colour phenomenon of its waters (caused by light diffracting from minuscule particles of clay suspended in its still depths) is steeped in history and is now a Site of Special Scientific Interest. We have a Wessex Region visit on Sunday 19th May, meeting at 10.30am for coffee in the tearooms. It is very picturesque and will make a lovely picnic venue on what we hope will be a bright sunny day. Admission is £7.50 per person. Please bring your own chairs and a picnic table if you have one.
