E63 model variant fixed head coupe; silver grey with black extended merino leather, both exterior and interior in immaculate condition. Date of first registration 1 Mar 2006.
Current plate V10 AHT, previous plate PX06 PYA. Will be transferred back to the previous plate for sale as I plan to keep the V10 AHT plate.
MOT until 28 Sep 2022, only two minor advisories. I also have a video inspection of the car on a ramp done by a BMW main dealer on 22 Oct 2021 which checked out fine.
Mileage 82,545 (being driven occasionally so will increase slightly)
Owned since May 2016, five previous owners. I researched very carefully (saw four other cars from a total UK population of c300 cars) and bought on mechanical condition, as all M car specialists advise. Previous owner had owned since 2010 and he bought at 26,610 miles; I understand from him those previous owners had been BMW dealer directors or their family. I bought from the previous owner at c77,000 miles so he did the bulk of the miles and he had it looked after mainly by Dick Lovett Hungerford. Original seller was Lloyd Cockermouth and had following options (original sale documentation kept):
• Comfort Access (keyless entry/exit)
• Piano Black interior
• Bluetooth phone prep (which works)
• Auto-high beam
Since my ownership, the full service history has been maintained through specialists in York and on the Isle of Wight. The York specialist is a BMW independent (Automotive Solutions) the IOW one is very experienced in high performance vehicles (St Helens Service Station) – coincidentally in fact in both cases, the garage owner/head mechanic had previously owned E60 BMW M5s so knows the car’s mechanical systems extremely well. Critically, Launch Control has never been used on the car. The previous owner got the selling main dealer to check the car’s onboard history (apparently you can interrogate the software to tell you that kind of detail) and I have certainly never done one in it. All the receipts, bills and paperwork with the car has been kept and is available, as are two keys (that both work).
In my time the car has had new battery, new brake discs front and rear, a new air con compressor, had some minor cosmetic touch up work from paint chips, the carbon roof re-lacquered, been regularly valeted inside and out and has been recently (Apr 2021) detailed and ceramic coated. It is kept in a dehumidified garage. I have added an Alcantara steering wheel (easily reversible through the same company that supplied it), a wired-in trickle charger and changed the ‘nostrils’ to gloss black from the original ‘chromed plastic’ (originals kept and it is a straightforward if fiddly job to swap back) – personal choice but I think the steering wheel and black nostrils make it look noticeably but subtly better without being too bling! Comes with an indoor car cover, spare engine oil and new matching BMW M stitching leather gear lever and handbrake gaiters that I have not yet fitted.
