This training will be 2 days in duration. A 2 day programme ensures that we can fit everything in and do it justice. On planning the training, it became apparent that one day would not suffice as there is simply too much information to squeeze into a single day.
The dates for the training are: Sunday 3rd March 2019 and Sunday 17th March 2019.
The Venue for the training is: Cotswold BMW Cheltenham, Corinthian Way, Cheltenham, GL51 6UP
The Timings for each day are: Arrivals from 9.30am – the training is 10.00am to 3.30pm both days.
We will have access to a set of cars for judging, workshops in which to carry out our practical judging exercises and a workshop ramp where we will be able to raise a car for the purposes of practicing ‘underbody’ judging.
If you are interested in becoming a Concours judge, please consider attending. It doesn’t matter if you have judged before or not, and it doesn’t even matter if you are currently unsure whether it is something you might enjoy or not. The only important thing is that if you feel you are interested, or could potentially be interested, why not get involved in the training and find out?! It would be great to have as many people attend the training days as possible, so please do attend even if you are only able to make one of the two days (although attending both days is obviously preferable).
We are very grateful to have the use of Cotswold BMW facilities for the training and both days will include breaks for lunch and refreshments.
If you would like to attend please email your confirmation to me at concours@bmwcarclubgb.co.uk
A ‘Joining Pack’ will be sent to each person attending, with full details of the training agenda and confirmation of the dates, venue, timings etc.
I am sure the training will be very enjoyable and worthwhile – the overall aim is to equip you with the knowledge, information and skills to judge at official BMW Car Club GB Concours events.
