The Wessex Weekend Tour will cover the weekend of 3-4 September 2022, with one night’s hotel accommodation at The Royal Hotel, Weston-super-Mare.  The timetable for the weekend is as follows:-

Saturday 3rd, 09.30am – 10.00am:  Meet at The Swan Inn, Rowberrow, Winscombe, Somerset, BS25 1QL  (Link: The Swan Inn ).
Saturday 3rd, 10.00am:                     Travel to nearby Cheddar Gorge (5.1 miles) to visit Gough’s Cave and The Cheddar Gorge Cheese Company  (Link: Cheddar Gorge).
Saturday 3rd, 12.30pm:                     Leave Cheddar Gorge to return to the Swan Inn for lunch.
Saturday 3rd, 12.45pm – 2.00pm:    Lunch at The Swan Inn.
Saturday 3rd, 2.00pm – 5.30pm:     Travel to Wookey Hole (10.6 miles) with free time to enjoy various attractions (Link: https://wookey.co.uk).
Saturday 3rd, 5.30pm – 6.15pm:     Travel to The Royal Hotel, 1 South Parade, Weston-super-Mare, BS23 1JP (19.5 miles) (Link: https://www.royalhotelweston.com).
Saturday 3rd, 7.00pm – 11.00pm:   Drinks and dinner at The Royal Hotel in private dining room.
Sunday 4th, 8.00am – 9.30am:        Breakfast at The Royal Hotel.
Sunday 4th, 9.30am:                         Travel to the Helicopter Museum, Weston-super-Mare (3.4 miles) (Link: http://www.helicoptermuseum.co.uk).
.                                                                Alternatively, you may prefer to stay and enjoy some free time in Weston-super-Mare.
Sunday 4th, 1.00pm:                         Lunch at Royal Hotel before journey home.

Please note that the proposed visit to the Claverton Pumping Station has been cancelled, as it is not open this weekend.

Lunch at The Swan Inn, Rowberrow
As we are a larger party and to keep the time for lunch on Saturday 4th to a shorter time, The Swan Inn have asked us to place our food orders in advance.  Please make your choices from their online menu (Link: Swan-Inn-Premium-Lunch-Menu) and email them to wessex@bmwcarclubgb.co.uk no later than Friday 26 August.  This is important or you will be watching others enjoying their lunch!!  As we are planning a fairly short lunch break to maximise the time at Wookey Hole, could you please keep lunch food to a main course only.
