Travel back in time and get a glimpse of what life was like onboard Europe’s oldest floating warship HMS Trincomalee at The National Museum of the Royal Navy in Hartlepool.

We will meet in McDonald’s car park , Newton Park Services, Newton Aycliffe DL1 3NL (just off the A1(M) at 10:15 for a 10:45 departure. There is then a scenic drive to Hartlepool, route instructions will be supplied on the day. At Hartlepool we will park outside the museum entrance and get a group shot with the cars. Alternatively you can park at the Premier Inn if you want to avoid the 5-10 minute walk to the Brewers Fayre. We have booked the Brewers Fayre in Maritime Avenue at 12pm for a choice of standard or large carvery. Once you have paid you get a ticket to hand in, queue up at the carvery station, get your meat(s) then work your way along all the veg, stuffing and gravy applying the old tradition of “defy Gravity” and “get It Back To The Table without making an arse of yourself”.

By 1:30pm ish we will head back to the museum.  You must pre-book tickets, which cost £8:00 per person, and are valid for twelve months. Please book your ticket for 23 Jan 2020 at 13:00. The link to book tickets is as follows:
