This is the events diary for the 2025 season, BUT THIS IS NOT AN EXHAUSTIVE LIST OF WESTCOUNTRY EVENTS.
It will act as a single list of all the events that the Devon Region of the BMW Car Club GB will be organising / attending as a club along with events where we will not be attending as a club but may be of interest to members. Dates and details will be updated as they are confirmed by the organisers, along with being given their own dedicated event on the Events page as needed.
Please note that where events are organised by third parties i.e. not the BMW Car Club GB or one of its Regions, the information provided below is reproduced in good faith from those external sources. Where we are not attending as a club, it is up to those interested in attending to confirm that the event(s) are going ahead as shown.

23rd (Sunday) – Cars & Coffee @ CMR at Morwellham Quay from 10:00. UPDATED 22/1/25 – This is the re-scheduled event, replacing the one that was flooded out on 5th January. “Our Classic Car and Motorbike Show is aimed at bringing together owners of cherished cars and motorbikes, ranging from vintage era to modern day cult classics and showing them off to the public. There will also be a chance to win a prize for your car/motorbike in our competition, with prizes kindly sponsored by local businesses. JULY
12th-13th (Saturday-Sunday) – Historic Vehicle Gathering at Powderham Castle (50th Anniversary). UPDATED 23/2/25. We are attending as a club, with support from our Cornish and Western regions. The booking form has now been received (see below). Confirmation of attendance, show ticket and camping money welcomed from now on. Final payments MUST be received by Friday 23rd of May to allow for posting to the organisers. The cost, per car, is £17 for either or both days. Camping is £40 per pitch, which covers Friday and Saturday nights. Size of show area and location awaited from the organisers.

26th-27th July – Vintage Weekend. RHS Rosemoor EX38 8PH. Individual entry. From the website RHS Garden Rosemoor | Fun, family days out & events in North Devon / RHS: Travel back in time and enjoy a weekend of nostalgia at the Vintage Weekend, set in the beautiful gardens of RHS Garden Rosemoor.
Admire a huge and eclectic selection of classic cars, motorcycles, tractors and caravans on the rolling lawns of the arboretum and speak to the collectors who treasure them.
Have a go at 1950’s swing dancing with Neil and Kerry from ‘Step into Swing’, or kick up your heels with Rockabilly dancers Lisa and Neil.
You can even revisit a vintage childhood and enjoy family fun with Punch and Judy shows, steam rides and retro games from 10am–4pm in Lady Anne’s garden.
Dress up and you may even win the ‘Best Dressed’ prize of VIP tickets for next year’s event!

10th (Sunday) – Exmouth Classic Vehicle Show at the Imperial Recreation Ground. ADDED 13/2/25. From the organiser’s email: “The annual Exmouth Classic Vehicle Show will be returning on Sunday 10th August 2025 following a successful last year which saw in excess of 300 vehicles on display and £1996.54 raised for Devon Air Ambulance through voluntary donations. Organised by the Morris Minor Owners Club Devon Branch and the Ford Anglia 105E Owners Club, this annual event will take place from 10am until 4PM. As in previous years, there is no entry fee to pay and no need to book in – although it will be helpful if the organisers can know in advance if you would like a pitch reserved for a car club display. The event will also be looking to collect for local charity in the official collecting buckets and they also hope to have in excess of 200 vehicles on display.
