I have owned the car since 2006 and it was driven regularly until summer 2017. The last MOT expired in Oct 2017. It has been off the road since 2017 and stored in a dry garage since. It was originally intended that the car would only be off the road for a short while to repair a leaking clutch slave cylinder. Unfortunately because of a sudden serious family illness I wasn’t able to repair it and put it back on the road at that time, (it wasn’t my day to day transport). COVID then followed, the car wasn’t kept at home and working on it would have been difficult. It was always my intention to get it back on the road but unfortunately good intentions are not enough and I don’t now have the time or funds to devote to it. I’d like the car to go to someone who will recommission it and return it to the road if possible. I believe the car is in reasonable condition for its age, it rolls freely, the engine is free and as far as I’m aware it hasn’t been subject to the unwanted attention of rodents. The engine hasn’t been started for a couple of years for fear of contaminating everything with stale fuel.
I have a comprehensive history file including the original invoice.
