BMW X4 M40i hits UK dealerships in Spring 2016
BMW have announced more details for the X4 M40i we covered in last month’s BMW News. It is scheduled to go on sale in March/April 2016 starting at €65,000 in Germany, so expect a price around the £50K mark here in the UK.
The extensive standard equipment of the top model M40i includes Dynamic Suspension Control, a fabric and leather combination for the interior, and a few more details that are likely to make the X4 M40i an attractive package for many X4 xDrive35i prospective owners.
A newly developed M performance TwinPower Turbo 3.0-litre six-cylinder inline petrol engine celebrates its world premiere in the new BMW X4 M40i, delivering 355hp between 5,800 and 6,000rpm, whilst providing 465Nm of torque.
The new X4 M40i can sprint to 60mph in a scant 4.7 seconds, six-tenths of a second faster than the X4 xDrive35i according to BMW. Top speed is electronically limited to 155mph – fast enough for a 4X4 methinks!
